I do not believe advocates would see the point in getting charter schools if they have to be supervised by an elected school board and stick to all the regulations that public schools do. They exist to stay away from the oversight and regulations. You are assuming that Tacoma School District would agree to be responsible for the charter schools inside its borders – but the distrct has not selected to be a charter school authorizer. Charter schools are intended to replace the program of fundamental instruction a college district supplies.
If a district wanted to contract with a charter organization to supply right after school tutoring paid for with understanding help program funds, that would almost certainly be fine. The school also pays rent to Rivera’s nonprofit, the Latino Pastoral Action Center , for its W. 170th St. creating. This college is fleecing the method,husband paying his wife’s salary with taxpayer money, unheard of, they should be shut down permanently… & these men and women need to be held accountable & in the least appropriately audited!!!
If this school was to shut down, these students would be left to go to those non caring, disruptive unorganized public schools. Concentrate your interest on larger troubles like graduation prices in low performing junior higher/ higher schools and schools that have low overall performance grades! Winston Brooks, superintendent of the Albuquerque Public College district, supervises 94,000 students and tends to make $256,000 per year. Esquivel stated this raises concerns about accountability in the charter school program and queries who is overseeing the schools. He also mentioned if he was not performing those duties, someone else would have to, and that the expense to the schools would really be larger to split the duties.
At a meeting Monday night, Superintendent Winston Brooks stated the charter schools have not disclosed certain economic records. The superintendent says he’s giving the schools till four p.m. on Friday to hand over the info, or else they will face losing their charters. I was living in the great, but small state of Vermont, where history jobs have been not plentiful.
